1156 people in Doncaster successfully quit smoking this year after accessing local Stop Smoking Services

The goal to make the UK "Smokefree by 2030" aims to reduce adult smoking prevalence to 5% or less. According to ASH (Action on Smoking and Health), 11% of adults aged 18+ in Great Britain smoke, a fall from 13% between 2021 and 2025. While daily smoking rates have been dropping, there is still a long way to go before the UK can achieve smoke-free status.
