Doncaster police recorded fewer break-ins but the value of property stolen was considerably higher – estimated at over £461,500

New figures obtained by Nothing But Padlocks, providers of school security solutions, show nearly 1,500 break-ins (and attempted break-ins) at educational institutions across Yorkshire over the past five years.
